Space Racers thanks its fans and partners for a tremendous August Eclipse program, helping kids to safely view the 2017 Total Solar Eclipse!

Eclipse Safety

Eclipse Bird

You have probably been taught never to look directly into the Sun, as it could damage your eyes. This rule is still true during the eclipse, even though the sky will get dark! The only way to safely look directly at the Sun during an eclipse is through special solar-viewing glasses, such as those included in the Space Racers Eclipse Kit you can download here. You can also order extra glasses. It is important to try on your glasses before the big day so you know they fit properly. Parents or teachers can help smaller children to get their glasses adjusted.
